How to Gain Healthy Weight?



HOW MANY CALORIES NEEDED TO GAIN WEIGHT?
-- On average to gain 1 lbs a week you have to increase your daily caloric intake by 500 calories
a) For example, if you normally eat 1500 calories a day, to gain 1 pound a week you have to start taking in 2000 calories a day.
b) So count your caloric intake!!!

GAIN WEIGHT WITH NUT AND OTHER HEALTHY PLANT BASED FOODS?
--Nuts
a) peanuts, walnuts, brazilian nuts, cashews, almonds
b) eat bowls of nuts
c) brazilian nuts have the highest calories --- 6-8 nuts = 190 calories and 180 fat calories
d) Nut Based Spreads (almond butter spread and peanut butter)
  - peanut butter and jelly sandwhichs
  - peanut butter and bannana sandwhichs
  - peanut butter or almond butter and banana shakes

HIGH CALORIE DRINKS THAT ARE HEALTHY?
-- Soda Replacement
a) Coconut Milk
b) Liquid nutritional supplements (ie: Boost PLUS, Ensure PLUS, Store Brand Liquid Nutritional Supplements PLUS)
c) Fruit juices and Fruit smoothies

Gain Weight With Fruits?
--Dense Fruits
 a) bananas, pears, apples, pineapples, dried fruits

Gain Weight With Vegetables?
--Starchy Vegetables
a) potatoes, peas, corn, carrots, beets
b) eat potatoes w/ gravy, vegetables, beans, cheese, sour cream, butter and other condiments

Gain Weight With Bread?
 --Hearty Dense Bread
a) whole wheat, oat bran, pumpernickle, rye are actually more nutritious then white bread

Gain Weight With Soups?
-- Thick Hearty Creamy Soups
a) hearty creamy soups instead of broth based soups - I usually eat lobster bisque and clam chowder
b) cream corn chowder, creamy tomatoe bisque, cream of mushroom soup, brocoli cheese chowder

  3. u luk gud and wud luk great if it wasn't 4 da gut cuz oda tings luk bigger 2, but u cnt have da gut and the butt being almost da same size. lol I wud like 2 c u 140 or more without the gut I tink u wud have a gud shape. If u do can u update us and share how u did it :) tanks n nice video. I 2 check 4 updates. Wat is ur weight without being bloated??

  4. Where are you??? I'm waiting on how we're gonna gain this weight back. I was 135 after I had my son and lost 10 lbs a few months later. I'm 5'2 and 135 looked GOOD on me. I'll keep checking back. Hope everything went good with your grades. :0)

  5. This is my tips based on my experience:

    -EAT POTATOES!! I cannot eat the typical fattening food such as dairy, bread, nuts, sweets ect...because I have intolerance to them. They give me dark circlse and makes me LOOSE weigh! The only food that makes me gain weigh is potatoes.

    -Dont just eatt potatoes of course. I eat meat like sardines and beef. I tried just potatoes and,even though I had gained good weigh, I felt...schizoprenic from the lack of nutrients, im not joking. I also add Vegetables and enriched rice milk for additional nutrients. I feel pretty good on this diet. : )

    -Buy an electronic scale. (20$) I measure my food by gram, it's important. Before that, my daily calorie intake was way lower than what I thought it was ( 3000calorie by day) It was just 2000 calorie. There is 0.73 calorie by 1 gram of Russet/Chef potato (My fav potato)

    -White enriched rice is also a staple but I dont eat it much because I think it makes me feel full very easily and give me nausea.I eat around 250 gr by day

    -Cook your potatoes in the microwave xD please do that... It will save you so much freackin time. Pierce them with a knife before, so they dont explode in the microwave LOL, then put them at 25min ( high heat )

  7. Hey...I'm obviously late. However i am interested in gaining some weight. I am 5' 4" smd about 110 lbs in dire need of some advise.
