What a year it has been for me, I originally lost most of my weight in February when I had my first foot surgery and just like I thought I had surgery again today.  But this time I'm not just going be like forget about it and let myself go, I am going to push myself everyday to eat, and take care of myself.  Which I am sure will help with healing.  Only problem is, it's going to be that much harder to run up and down the steps when I feel hungry. I think I ate pretty well today considering the circumstances :)


I wanted to take pics in the same outfit every week so I can see if I see any progress.  I originally wanted to take pics every week in shorts but looks like it will be spandex black pants and a white shirt instead :)  I also wanted to see if my face is going to get any fatter, that I can def do without!

I wanted to take full body pictures today in shorts and tank top but never got around to it for many reasons.  Today was just horrible for me, my foot was hurting really bad and I knew tommorow I would be going back to the Doc for possibly yet another surgery.  Also my tooth was hurting so I think I will be getting my wisdom teeth removed soon.  As a result I could only eat on one side of my mouth. Omg just all around terrible day so I barely ate and could not even force it :( I hope for a better day on Friday!!!!

I have a month long break from school so I should be over the moon happy.  But I am not, my Husboo is stressing me out and we are having issues.  I notice relationship issues tend to affect my eating habits the most.  When my relationships are not going great I literally stop eating, at this point I seriously have to force myself to eat.  It sucks :(  But I know it will be worth it in the end.  I noticed the first time I gained the 20lbs in 2 months I was the happiest I had ever been.  I was single, no relationship drama, and I had just gotten my college degree.  When I am happy yet still relaxed I eat a ton, when I am stressed and not as happy I have no appetite so that is what I am dealing with right now.  For that reason I am in no mood for cooking just to not really be in the mood to eat it.  So I will stick with frozen dinners until I get my appetite back.  Plus eating frozen dinners makes it super easy to keep track of calories since it is listed right at the back of the box.

*** My appetite is terrible, I haven't been in the mood to eat anything lately.  So I have found that it is alot easier just to drink.  So I am getting alot of my calories from my nutritional supplemental drinks which is also going to help expand my stomach so that in the future my body will want to eat more!!!!

I had lost weight but my head didn't so I look a total mess. Lets do this together!!! My Weight Journey

Many of you know from my youtube channel BlkBeauty4Life that I am trying to currently gain weight, and maintain the weight I have already gained.  For those of you who do not know I will try to explain it short and quickly.  I have been very thin and/or skinny my whole life. I hated being skinny and got made fun of time to time in grade school for being so thin, but never was able to gain weight no matter what I did.  I was 109lbs from middle school to high school.  I was 115-120lbs throughout college.  My very last year of college I finally broke past 120 and got to about 124lbs.  Then some how some way right after I graduated from college and began grad school at the age of 23 I gained about 20lbs in 2 months.  Yes 20lbs in 2 months!!!!!! I went from around 124lbs to 146lbs.  Insane right.  I only stayed at 146lb for a month or 2.  My body stabilized at around 140lbs for over a year.   Then I got sick, as a result I lost a good 10lbs but gained it back quickly.  So here we are in 2011 and I got sick again in January and lost weight again.  So I  am currently around 134lbs but for some reason I feel like I look alot thinner then I used to when I was this weight before.  I have spent the last couple of months saying I am going to gain it back.....but I have not.  For some reason this time is seems alot harder especially considering I have been 146lbs before and know how to gain.  So that is why I am starting this blog.  I will blog about my meals and what I am doing everyday to gain weight.  Keeping yourself accountable always helps when you have a goal you really want to get to.

So this is my ultimate goal.  I want to one day get to 150lbs but I am going to start with baby steps.  I want to first get to 140lbs then 146lbs and after that we will go from there!!!!

So follow me and lets do this together.
