How to Gain Healthy Weight?



HOW MANY CALORIES NEEDED TO GAIN WEIGHT?
-- On average to gain 1 lbs a week you have to increase your daily caloric intake by 500 calories
a) For example, if you normally eat 1500 calories a day, to gain 1 pound a week you have to start taking in 2000 calories a day.
b) So count your caloric intake!!!

GAIN WEIGHT WITH NUT AND OTHER HEALTHY PLANT BASED FOODS?
--Nuts
a) peanuts, walnuts, brazilian nuts, cashews, almonds
b) eat bowls of nuts
c) brazilian nuts have the highest calories --- 6-8 nuts = 190 calories and 180 fat calories
d) Nut Based Spreads (almond butter spread and peanut butter)
  - peanut butter and jelly sandwhichs
  - peanut butter and bannana sandwhichs
  - peanut butter or almond butter and banana shakes

HIGH CALORIE DRINKS THAT ARE HEALTHY?
-- Soda Replacement
a) Coconut Milk
b) Liquid nutritional supplements (ie: Boost PLUS, Ensure PLUS, Store Brand Liquid Nutritional Supplements PLUS)
c) Fruit juices and Fruit smoothies

Gain Weight With Fruits?
--Dense Fruits
 a) bananas, pears, apples, pineapples, dried fruits

Gain Weight With Vegetables?
--Starchy Vegetables
a) potatoes, peas, corn, carrots, beets
b) eat potatoes w/ gravy, vegetables, beans, cheese, sour cream, butter and other condiments

Gain Weight With Bread?
 --Hearty Dense Bread
a) whole wheat, oat bran, pumpernickle, rye are actually more nutritious then white bread

Gain Weight With Soups?
-- Thick Hearty Creamy Soups
a) hearty creamy soups instead of broth based soups - I usually eat lobster bisque and clam chowder
b) cream corn chowder, creamy tomatoe bisque, cream of mushroom soup, brocoli cheese chowder

Weight Journey Update

Right Now I am 136-138 lbs.  Which is right below where I like to be (140 lbs).  Of course I would love to be 140 if not 10-15 lbs more then that.  But I feel good when I am at least 140lbs.  So right now my journey consists of 3 main things.  2-3 LIQUID NUTRITIONAL SUPPLEMENTS A DAY, 3 MACA ROOT CAPSULES, AND MASHED POTATOES W/ GRAVY EVERY OTHER NIGHT.  Of course I also try to eat at least 2 meals a day, I usually snack on Thin Mints or Oreos, and for breakfast I usually have Oatmeal. 



--- Liquid Nutritional Supplements yall know is the #1 thing I attribute my weight gain to when ever I do gain weight, but ive been slacking on drinking them lately.
--- Maca Root Capsules I have read is supposed to make your booty more plump when using it along with doing booty exercises but I have only been using it for less then a week now, so we will see how that goes
--- Mashed Potatoes w/ Gravy,  haha Idk I always eat a plate full of mashed potatoes piled high when I am trying to gain weight, and it works I promise :)

Talking about weight and making updates motivates me, so hopefully now that I am back to talking about it more I will stick to what I need to do to maintain and gain.

Benecalorie Calorie and Protien Food Enhancer Review

Benecalorie is contains 330 calories and 7 grams of fat in each container.

First off right now I am around 135-137 lbs. So I clearly gained no weight from this product, but that isn't because it does not work, it is more because I did not use it consistantly. If I have used it 2-3 times I day I am sure I would have gained weight. But I only used it maybe once every 2-3 weeks. It works best blending/mixing it into fruit smoothies/milk shakes. I did not like the taste, smell, texture, look, or greasyness it gives my foods, it does not mix all that well because it is a thick milky white consistancy. So if you make your own shakes daily I would recommend it.

I am still sticking with my CVS Liquid Nutritional Supplements, I just need the motivation to drink 2-3 a day so I can get back to 140 lbs

Where is my appetite - I finally ordered Benecalorie

My appetite currently ceases to exist. Lately all I eat is Ramen Noddles which 290 calories, clearly not enough to maintain my weight.  I eat that for breakfast and sometimes lunch and then for dinner sometimes I have a normal dinner with rice and some sort of meat.  Or for dinner I have 2 Nutella sandwiches.  Yesterday I saw 139 on the scale and I thought to myself its time for me to order Benecalorie.  I never want to wait again till I lose 20lbs to do something about it.  I have been thinking how perfect it would be to pour some Benecalorie into my soup or oatmeal or milk....basically anything and get an extra 300 calories added to anything I eat.   Especially since I really need it right now.  I have been trying so hard to save and spend absolutely no money on anything.  But this will be worth it in the long run.  As soon as it comes in I will document how it works, so you guys will be the first to know how my body reacts to it.  I can't imagine it not working.

I want to try Benecalorie -- Currently 140-141

WHEN I HAVE NO APPETITE AT ALL, I JUST FORCE DOWN SOME SOUP

So I didn't weigh myself for probably 2 weeks, something I never do.  I typically weigh myself every other day atleast (if not way more) in order to stay ontop of things.  But my battery in my scale died and I just kept forgetting when I was out to buy another.  Anyways, I finally bought a battery yesterday and weighed myself, and to my delight I am still maintaining.  I was 140-141 yesterday and today.  Now that is on the lower end of my goal, no type of cushion but I am still happy.  Lately I have been stressing like crazy.  One day I had a large box of my fav pizza and my fav Thai dish (Pad Thai) on the counter and I literally couldn't get myself to eat either.  Yes it was that bad :(  I ate chicken and cheddar Campbell's soup that day, and I had to force it done too.  So that's the reason why I am surprised that I am still maintaining some how.  I am still stressing a bit but def not as much as before.  I have my appetite back finally and ate the box of pizza and pad Thai.  But my appetite is still not where I want it to be.
